Membee is Slow for Some Users – 10:00 AM MDT Update

Hi Everyone,

When these issues happen, there is a methodical process to determine the cause. We are well into that process and here is what we know so far. The data center team always starts with Membee’s servers and they appear to be fine while reporting slightly lower than normal activity. This makes sense since a lot of Membee users are working away like normal.

Logic here guides us that the issue is somewhere between the Membee servers and the end users who are experiencing the slowness and subsequent errors resulting from the slow performance. In essence, an issue with the network either within the data centre or externally with the many bandwidth providers that provide Internet access to the data center.

Network engineers are now tracing backwards to identify the issue. They will certainly update us as soon as they know something and of course we’ll post immediately when there is news.
