Issue with Dropdown Fields in Chrome Resolved

Hi Membee Users,

We are pleased to inform you that Google Chrome has officially released a new update (Version 108.0.5359.99) that has resolved the widespread dropdown field issues.

If your members report issues regarding the dropdown in Chrome, please encourage them to update their Google Chrome to the latest version to resolve the issue and proceed.

As Microsoft Edge uses the same source code as Google Chrome, a new version of Edge with the updates will likely be imminent.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at support@membee.com.

Thank you again for your patience.

Issue with Dropdown Fields in Chrome and Edge

Chrome and Edge recently released an update that prevents dropdown fields within iFrames from working as expected on desktop computers. This will be encountered in the following browser versions:

Chrome Version: Version 108.0.5359.95 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Edge Version: Version 108.0.1462.42 (Official build) (64-bit)

This is impacting all applications that, like us, provide content via an iFrame. Many companies have begun reporting this issue to Google and you can view a thread for reports at the following link:

This issue does not impact Firefox, so this browser can be used for now if dropdown selections need to be made on a new member signup or event registration form. Dropdown fields also seem to be working as expected when using Chrome on mobile devices.

We will post another update once the browsers have resolved this issue.

Thank you,
